He looks like he's either about to run or dance. I got lazy with the background... again.
Oekaki done in ShiPainter. Character (c) MonolithSoft & Namco Bandai
Edit: I just realized how creepy this one looks... sorry about that! I probably should have picked a different bg color; I primarily picked the dark red to bring out his eyes more, yet it ended up creating a mood that I didn't intend. Oh well, I'll try better next time!
<33 The colors (okay so -maybe- not the background) look amazing. You seriously push ShiPainter to it's limits, I mean, a texture? You put a texture on an oekaki. That is SO cool.
Aw, I don't think it's creepy, he just looks intense. XD And it certainly brings out those eyes. The background colour is maybe a little bit unusual, but I give you a lot of credit for experimenting. The balance between light and dark space is very dramatic, kind of a chiaroscuro effect (I have no idea if I've spelled that properly or even used it in the right context ... oh dear).
And really, could that face get any cuter? Seriously. XD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
