Truly fantastic work. From a narrative point of view, it leaves me, a viewer, itching to know the events that transpired before this; what could possibly have led to this dramatic confrontation?
From a technical standpoint it's no less breathtaking; what you've done with the contrast between light and dark, and the colours, and the painterly quality to the piece, seemingly effortlessly, is something I'm constantly striving to achieve. Also, with the warm light, falling on the slightly slapdash, ramshackle buildings, you've captured the feel of a shanty town perfectly. Personal interpretation tells me this is a slum situated somewhere in africa; it could just as easily be anywhere in the world.

I think this set of colors is my favorite. I love this whole picture, and the amount of work you put into it really shows, and I just noticed the two little kids heads in the foreground, they're a really nice touch!
I really love this piece with all the perspective, lighting and overall composition and aesthetics....but I can't get over the fact that the guy on the ground....his nose is so big! LOL Like, obviously it's the character's design itself, but I just think it's really hilarious.
Phenomenal perspective, stylized characters, rendering, lighting, and really gripping story behind this piece...wow. I prefer this to the other one, though they're both absolutely fantastic. Beautiful work!
